Employees and  learners are under the  duty to co-operate to ensure that these policies are effective as well co-operate with the  equal opportunities conduct and to prevent discrimination.

Employees and learners also have the responsibility under these policies not to harass or intimidate other employees or learners on the grounds of race or sex, disability or sexual orientation and must not victimize or retaliate against employees or learners who make such allegations. Disciplinary action will be taken against any employee or learner who breaches this policy and serious breaches will be treated as gross misconduct.

ASSESSOR QUAFICATIONS COURSE (A1)

Candidate support

All candidates taking an RQF//RQF will be helped to negotiate leave for the completion of their portfolio.

Candidates will be allocated an RQF /RQF assessor within two weeks of committing to taking an RQF /RQF at the Centre Where this assessor is still working towards gaining their assessor qualification they will be supported by a more experienced assessor.

Where a candidate is unable to readily evidence part of an RQF/RQF due to the particular nature of their work role, environment and activities discussions will take place between the candidate, assessor and line manager to devise work enhancement opportunities to enable evidence collection.

RQF assessors will provide on-going support to candidates working towards an  RQF/ RQF. This will include regular telephone and e-mail contact to be agreed on an individual basis between assessors and candidates as well as individual planning, review and coaching sessions relating to the RQF/RQF unit contents.
